Friday 55 Flash Fiction is brought to you by G-man (Mr Knowitall). The idea is you write a story in exactly 55 words. If you want to take part pop over and let G-man know when you've posted your 55.Here is today's story:
A Foul Story
The place was filled with foul language.
It hurt his very very sensitive ears.
He really didn't want to be there but his best friend had asked him as a personal favor. But then what else would you expect
Since I discovered it was okay I am writing a second flash 55 which will be a continuous story but a complete story every week. Here then is the twenty third chapter in the exciting ongoing adventures of Sir Laughsalot and Robberhood
The entire story to date is HERE
The most recent chapters are HERE
The Wizard Moreless waved his hand over the Snail.
There was puff of smoke.
Where the snail had been there was now a horse.
Not a frog, not a giraffe, not a snail but a horse.
It even looked like a horse.
The only problem was that this real horse was only six inches high.
Of course the dragons were busy today you can see them HERE.

Yes, they indulge in very foul language :-)
Enjoyed that, as always.
Well, a very cheeep twist indeed LOL
I enjoyed them both--and can't wait to see what becomes of a six-inch horse?
Dr. John, you are the King of Corn. I like it. 55's are fun.
Really good and funny one. I love your sense of humour dr. mine is up too. :)

Yes...good. clever. I'll bet chicken pens even have a foul odor? --grin!
Peace
I'm glad I live in a city atmosphere and don't have to listen to those chickens! :D
Now, I think I would like the 6inch horse though...;)
HA,HA,HA,i love those foul little birds, i eat them for dinner quite a bit.
my little girls would love your little horse, perfect size to keep with them!!
LOL. Yeah, it doesn't pay to hang out with a bunch of dumb clucks.
unfortunately, i probably was a chicken in a previous life :-/ i loved the 55s :0)
OMG I loved this. And I love how you are doing the pictures with this. Just awesome my friend. Have a great weekend :)
There it was, 9 a.m. my time, and only a few skinny moments left before I had to go to (sigh) work. It was Flash 55 Friday. In a flash, the urge to participate overcame me! I sat for one of those skinny moments, staring at the sheaf of poems I'm reading on Sunday as the local featured poet. "Spring Has Sprung" lay on top. I counted the words. I added an "it" and flashed off to the blogosphere. It was the quickest way to play the game before I went to (sigh) work. There, I confess. That's why my Flash is not on Fall. Next time, I will be Fresh!

I love the story and the pictures to match, great 55!!
I love how you lead us down the well illustrated path to the moral of the story. This was the best groan I've had all week..because it made me laugh.
A six inch horse. Hmmm, seems magic has been taken over by the Government. ;)
Oh, I just loved your foul/fowl story.
PG
Oh, such a clever, clever 55! As you know, mine's posted HERE!
(And aren't you glad you taught me how to do the link thing in comment boxes?!)
A 6" horse, now that would be neat to see.
As usual 2 great 55's.
I was accused of using foul language today and the woman said it hurt her ears. I thought that was odd. It might have hurt her sense of decency, but not her ears. But apparently you think that's possible, too.
(I had a complaint for a borough official and she refused to address my problem, just kept telling me what a wonderful town we have, so I let out a B___S____. The chickens wouldn't have minded.)
Never realized before that chickens had foul language. But now that I look back on it, yes I believe they do. Funny stories. And where can I find one of those 6" horses?
Makes me want to dance the funky chicken! LOL
You're SO clever!!
