Quilly's Words are Back

It is a Quilly day. Time to take Quilly’s three words for the day and write a story. Quilly gave us these three words before she went on vacation and set today as the date for the story. Click on the word for a definition

acrasia; murklins; & oncethmus

The Bad Daughter

How long would she have to put up with his oncethmus. It was bad enough during the day but even murklins it continued. It was a good job she didn’t have acrasia or he would be dead already . Still the problem remained and she would have to deal with it. He was her father and she really did want to take care of him but he never shut up and was so darned loud. She had heard all his stories at least ten times. She was tired of being told what a good daughter would do and how wonderful her mother had been. He was so rude that few of her friends even came to visit.
But today it would end.
Today she would be the bad daughter he told her she was.
Today the ambulance would come and take him to the Nursing Home.
Today was independence day.
She might even do some oncethmus to rejoice.

And of course with Quilly's words comes the required quivel. Remember to write quivel you must write something that looks like a poem, any style , but is so bad that if it was printed in a book of poetry a true poetic zoilist would tear it out and burn it. What looks like bad haiku is really qiku where the middle line must always contain a Quilly word.

Smart Lady Killer

Her acrasia drove her to kill
His blood she had to spill
Despite the oncethmus of the press
For a quick end to the mess
She kept him murklins about the crime
Thus gaining precious time
The bacchante to careffuly frame
She was good at this game

Angry
Acrasia
Loving

Falling
Murklins
Stairs

Donkey
Oncethmus
Politician

Of course the dragons were busy today you can see them HERE.

She indeed is a bad daughter. Very dark story I think this week. She will rue the day she rejoices when she no longer has her father. Great use of the words Dr. John. And the quivel...well I loved it :)

Dr John, I am most impressed with qiku. I wouldn't burn it so in this case I think you failed, but it was really fun to read.

Great use of the words. I've missed the Quivel. :)

Thom- Maybe not so bad as really tired. People can only take so much abuse.
Just Me- Thanks but it is just quivel.

ACK! I think the BAD DAUGHTER might one day be the Bad Daughter-in-Law!

Great job on the Lady Killer -- and the qiku's are VERY good! LOVE the last one!

An excellent story of life there - with, of course, the essential Dr John touch :-)
